As you know we haven't had much time to spend with Nolan lately since Meredith has been in the hospital. Fortunately, she got released from the hospital just in time for us to celebrate Nolan's birthday together as a family. This weekend was "The Weekend of Nolan". Friday night included birthday dinner, cake and gelato, and opening of the birthday presents. Saturday we had a special surprise and took him to a place similar to our bed and breakfast in the US. They serve you lunch and dinner and they have stables where people can go and have a riding lesson then ride the horses. He has been wanting to ride a horse for quite some time now so we have been very excited to take him. It was a beautiful place and the people were so kind and generous to us. We can't wait to return when we can stay longer. Sunday included attending church for the first time with Meredith and catching up with friends then afterwards, one last present. He had a good weekend, and we are all just tired now...whoo, as if we weren't tired before....
