Meredith is home at last! Here are some pictures from our big day yesterday. It seems fitting that she was released for the 4th of July because now the holiday will have extra special meaning in our house. It is an independence day for Meredith now as well as she is now free of all the poking and prodding, examinations, doctors, monitors, scheduled feeding, and all the horrible things that she was exposed to in the past 7 weeks she was in the hospital. We are so happy for her that she is home and now she is free to just be a baby. Of course they have a long list of recheck appointments scheduled for her, the first 2 of which are on Monday(we are just trying not to think about that right now). We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family that have supported us and prayed for us through this whole ordeal and we would like to thank everyone what you have done. Also a special thanks to our moms who flew over from the United States back on May 16th to support us and to be with Nolan so we could concentrate on Meredith and her recovery. We love you and don't know what we would have done without you!
First family picture, not so good but at least we have one now...
Meredith was ready to eat at this point when we got home, not a good time for

Nolan loving on Meredith-He wants to hold her all the time

A picture with one of Meredith's doctors before leaving the department

Outside leaving the hospital

Nolan was holding Merdith's hand on the way home, so cute!

A picture next the bed Meredith called home for the last 3 weeks, we won't miss that place

One of many large trash can size bags of milk I have donated to the milk bank-they let Matt into the milk storage area to take some pictures :)

Nolan's first time touching and holding Meredith, he wanted to hold her before we even left her department so we stopped in the hallway on the way out, he was so excited!
