Half a Year Old!!

Meredith is 6 months old today! It is hard to believe, as you can imagine. We are so proud of her. She is doing more and more every day. She has quite a personality now and her new love is sucking on her toes. Yummy, so good! It is so funny to watch. Nolan never really did this so it is a new experience for us. Also, she is really into grabbing everything in site, especially our plates and food when we are eating(already!) She isn't so interested in eating as much as she just wants to know what it is and why we are so interested in putting it in the funny hole in our faces?!?

Yesterday we put the tray back on Nolan's Svan Chair and turned it back into a high chair. Meredith was able to sit in it, and she now has a new perspective on the world. We couldn't believe how big she looked sitting in the chair. We set a few blocks on the tray and she was happy as a clam! Now the only problem is Nolan LOVES his Svan chair, as he has been using it since he was Meredith's age. So since he isn't giving it up, it looks like we will be getting another one. In case you are not familar with this chair. It is a high chair that grows with you from baby, to toddler, to little boy or girl, to teen, to adult. It had to be probably one of our best purchases. It was a little pricy in the beginning but it has been sooo worth the money. Plus, originally I didn't want a big plastic high chair sitting in our living room at our old house because our eating area and living room were one room. It looks more like furniture than a highchair. In case you are interested here is the site. There are several different colors choices and cushion colors.
