Meredith

Sorry we haven't posted in a while, but we haven't had much happen this past week. Finally though yesterday the doctors removed Meredith's left chest tube because she is no longer producing any fluid at all. Also, they was a bit of air in her chest, but her last chest x-ray yesterday morning was completely clear so they said it was time to take out the left chest tube. Also, 2 days ago they pulled out her catheter so she has finally been able to pee normally in a diaper! Matt was in to visit her last night and she was laying on her stomach. This is very good because up to this point she has had so many wires and other tubes attached to her she has been only in one position on her back, just imagine how good this feels to her. She was also trying to pull her head up from this position, so this makes us happy. He did not have the camera though, so as soon as we get pictures of this, I will post them. We know that everyone has been checking to see if their has been any change so we wanted to let everyone know what the latest was.
