Another one of the towns we visited while in France was Cannes. What we liked about it was getting to see where the famous Cannes Film Festival is held every year in May. We also liked walking through the two marinas, where we viewed the most amazing yachts you could possibly imagine. The yachts all have their own staff on board to attend to their every need. We couldn't get over how large and expensive some of these ships were. It is definitely a different lifestyle in Cannes. The beach was a nice, sand beach, but very busy. There wasn't much there for entertaining kids. We took a train ride around to see the sites, which we were very dissapointed with. It was very unorganized and they just were not very good to their tourists like the other places with visited. There was lots and lots of shopping and the streets were just crammed full of people. So, in our opinion, it was just OK. We are glad we went to see it, but we probably wouldn't go back. I must mention, we do have Nolan obviously(who is 2). So, people without small kids might have enjoyed this place more, but it wasn't a place to take toddlers. Also, Nolan's mood each day is also a big contributing factor on if we enjoy ourselves or not, as all parents with small children can tell you. Just an FYI.....
