Nice was very nice(sorry, I had to say that)! :) It was a very nice city to visit, and it was pleasant to be there. We took the tourist train for a tour of the city, which I highly recommend. It stopped halfway through the tour at a very nice nature park, high above the city. We had lunch and enjoyed the view from above Nice and of the Riviera. It also had a very nice children's play area that Nolan enjoyed very much(see pictures above). We picked up a later train(the trains run every 40 minutes) and finished the rest of the tour a few hours later. After returning to the center of Nice, we had to check out the beach. It was a little rough on the beach. The beach was a rock beach(bigger rocks), and very hard on your feet. You must have shoes on this type of beach because of the size of the rocks, it hurts to walk and it takes you a very long time to walk down the beach without shoes. Also, the waves were a little high(not so good for kids). Overall though, it was a nice beach. They also had some neat little shops that were not too busy and that were also pleasant to browse through.
