New bike

It is hard to experience the way Italians live here in Italy unless you have a bicycle. Bicycles are a way of life here. Not only are they used for leisurely rides around town and through the mountains, but they are used daily in running errands around town and riding to the market to pick up a few items. I finally got a bike this weekend, and we have already been enjoying it. It also has a basket on the front which you don't see much in the states, but it is a very item useful here since it is easier, and quicker most of time to take your bike to town, rather than your car(plus it is good exercise). We also bought Nolan a seat to ride on the back and a helmet(with a caterpillar on the top, which he loves). Our first ride yesterday was a success with Nolan, he loved it so much and didn't want to come home. He also loves his helmet and insists on wearing it around the house, even at dinner. We love our new mode of transportation, and I have already used it to run to the market, it was much more enjoyable than driving.
