Roma, Italia

Well, we attempted to conquer Rome and Vatican City in 2 short days. We managed it, but nobody said it was easy. None of us could actually remember the last time we felt so exhausted in our entire lives. It was very difficult and not just because I was pregnant, everyone else was just as tired. So, if you happen to go keep that in mind. Moving on...We did the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain on day one. The second day we visited Vatican City. Which, in case you didn't know it is actually it's own independent state. Once you walk through those arches into Vatican City and St. Peter's Square, you are in a different country. Pretty interesting...Day two included St. Peter's Square, St. Peter's Basilica(plus we climbed to the top of the dome), the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. We were dog tired by day two, so if you are looking at pictures and wondering why we look so tired, that should explain it. We were happy after the fact the we managed to get it all in though!

There were too many pictures to chose from, I would have loved to put them all online, but it just wasn't possible!
