I have arranged for Nolan to receive his own mail twice a month. He receives the kids magazine Ladybug and also Animal Baby from the National Wildlife Federation. It is hard to find anything in English here in Italy for kids. It's great because it is something new for us to read together and for him to look at every month besides his regular books, plus he loves getting his own mail. He received one in the mail yesterday and I caught him reading it outside on the patio just after he opened it. It is also a great idea if you want to get a child a present, but don't want to get them toys, because it is educational.
