Italy Update

Well, we finally received all the paperwork needed for our Italian Visa. So we are off to Detroit, Michigan to the Italian Consulate to finish the last few steps. They will process everything and hopefully we should have our Visa within the new few weeks. This has been such a long, aggravating process and we never imagined it would be so difficult. We have learned so many lessons so far on our travels abroad and this one has been a very big one. Have patience!! Some things are just out of your control and you just have to be patient. Everything in life happens when the time is right, and not before. So, we are going to add this to our list of life lessons. It will be right up there with never keep your wallet in your back pocket in Italy, because sooner or later it will get stolen. In Matt's case, it was sooner (if only he would have listened to me and kept walking)!!
