The Mumford Farm

Down on the Farm

We recently visited our friends, Rich and Jacque Mumford in Salem, Ohio. They are the proud owners of "The Mumford Farm" approximately 40 minutes from the Pittsburg, PA. Airport. It was quite a drive with a very active toddler(especially one that hates being in a car seat) but we made it. We had a wonderful time on their farm and enjoyed catching up with them. We loved their large array of animals and even got to ride their tractors and snowmobiles. They are constantly adding to their family, but the animal that currently reside on the farm include: 2 horses, 2 goats, chickens, many farm cats, 2 dogs, several peacocks, & 2 peahens (I think I got them all). The chickens do lay eggs and we enjoyed their eggs for breakfast each morning while visiting. Yummy! The weather was dreadfully cold and we did get snowed on, but we all had a great time and we can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer. Thanks so much to Rich and Jacque for having us!
