1st Ultrasound

We were very excited to have our first, and probably only ultrasound of this pregnancy yesterday. We went to a very good private clinic here in Torino who do quite a few ultrasounds and we were blessed to have gotten a younger doctor who spoke English(Yea!!). You don't know how relieved we were. We had everything written down in Italian just in case and with our little Italian skills we would have gotten by, but nothing compares to someone speaking your native language. We once again were in awe that there was actually a baby in my belly, and we got to see some wonderful pictures of him/her. It was pretty amazing. Also, we were surprised to have gotten to see the baby in 3-D toward the end of the exam, as this is new at their clinic and they just starting using this technology. Our doctor said that everything looks great and the size of the baby matches up exactly with me being 21 weeks along! We are all very happy. Just wanted to share our news with you.
