Our Halloween and new additions to our family..

Well, we had big plans to go to LaPorte this weekend and go trick or treating at Mimi and Papa's house with cousin Burke. Our plans changed when Nolan came home from school on Friday feeling terrible and with a high fever. I had the car all packed up to leave for Laporte so we had to scratch our plans and stay home for the weekend. There is nothing like unpacking for a trip that you never even got to go on. Anyway, We were really looking forward to our trip, but these things happen I guess. Luckily we had gone to Boo at the Zoo and the Boo Bash already this week so Nolan and Meredith already got to dress up in their Halloween costumes twice before Halloween. Nolan was feeling much better yesterday and even better today so he is back to his normal self again!

This is Nolan Halloween morning, looking and feeling terrible, poor guy.

We have been looking at kittens because we were seriously thinking of getting 2 cats. I was going to make a decision this week after we returned home from LaPorte. Since we stayed home this weekend, we thought it might be a good time to go ahead and get them, so we did! We got 2 little black kittens on Halloween. They are 5 months old siblings, a brother and sister. They have really good personalities and we are having fun with them. We are still not quite convinced(mostly me)on the boy name of Jack but the girls name is Kika. She is named after Nolan's best friends cat in Italy, Carola. Carola had a kitten named Kika who we loved and spent alot of time at our house, Carola and the cat. Ciao Carola!! Come Va? Bene?

My mom came down and stayed with us Sunday night and brought the kids some Halloween goodies, thanks again mom for staying! The kids love their stuff!
