We wanted to share with you a few of our pictures from our adventures to Switzerland. In early December we decided to visit Matt's Uncle Brian and Aunt Jewell who are currently living there. They live near Basel, Switzerland which is in the northwest region of Switzerland. It required us to drive through the entire country of Switzerland and it only took us about 5 hours! The landscape there was breathtaking and was probably the most beautiful we have experienced in our lifetime. The weekend we traveled was the first big ski weekend for Italy and Switzerland and everyone was holding their breath, not sure if they were going to get snow. They did get it while we were there and it made the trip back even more beautiful with the peaks of the Alps snow-capped. The area we were visiting was just minutes from Germany, as well as France. We were able to visit a German Christmas market and try traditional German food and drinks. We had a wonderful time while we were there and we can't wait to go back and visit them again in the spring!
